How To Get To The Museum
The museum is located at southwestern slope of the famous Swayambhunath Temple, which is designated as the World heritage site. Public transportations are easily available from many points of Kathmandu Valley to Swayambhu Ring Road. It is 5-10 minutes walk from Ring Road to the museum complex. You can also get to the museum after visiting the Swayambhunath; its western gate is convenient to enter the museum. From Thamel, it takes about minutes by bicycle, or 35 minutes on foot. You can find the brick
red museum hall easily. There are many wild monkeys around the museum, and you can enjoy watching their funny behavior.
